Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Barliva uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and mobile device identifiers) on our websites and apps, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
01What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — including localStorage, sessionStorage, and mobile SDK identifiers — perform comparable functions in apps. They let a service remember your actions and preferences over time.
02Types we use
| Category | Purpose | Disable? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in, maintain your session, remember security and consent choices, and enable core functionality. | No (required) |
| Preferences | Remember settings such as language, theme, and your saved dietary/allergen filters. | Yes |
| Analytics | Help us understand, in aggregate, how the Services are used so we can improve them. Set only with your consent where required. | Yes |
03Third-party technologies
We may use a small number of reputable providers (for example, error monitoring and privacy-respecting analytics) that set or read identifiers on our behalf solely to operate and improve the Services. These providers act as our processors and may not use the data for their own purposes.
04How to control cookies
- In-app/website controls. Where required, we present a consent choice for non-essential cookies, which you can change at any time in settings.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Services from working.
- Mobile devices. Your device settings let you reset or limit advertising identifiers; Barliva does not use these for advertising.
05Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of these technologies evolves. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
